Is the OC maker free?
Yes. You get 2 free images a day without an account and 5 a day with a free account, plus the text tools (headcanons, names, ideas). Free images get a small corner mark when you download them.
Do I need to know how to draw?
No. You pick the look from a few choices and we draw the character. If you do draw, use it for a quick reference, a base to draw over, or the colors.
Is it AI?
Yes, the images are made with Google's Nano Banana 2 image model, and the text tools use OpenAI's GPT-4.1 mini. Think of the result as a starting point or a reference, not finished art. Please say it's AI-made when you share it.
Can I upload someone else's OC?
No. Only upload your own characters and your own drawings. If someone uses your OC without asking, email us and we'll take it down.
What can't I make?
Nothing sexual, no gore, no hate, and nothing that copies a real person. Everything is checked automatically before and after it's made. The full rules are in our acceptable use policy.
How do paid images work?
Each image uses 1 credit. Plus gives you 300 a month, Pro 800, or buy a one-time pack of 100 or 250 that lasts a year. Paid images download without the corner mark. Credits from a plan last 12 months, even if you cancel.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, in Settings → Billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for and it won't renew. Packs never renew.
Who handles payments?
Our merchant of record, Waffo. They process the card, handle sales tax and VAT, and send your receipts. The OC Maker never sees your full card number. If you're under 18, ask a parent before you buy.
